Higuerón Resort is an oasis on the Costa del Sol — a spa, a beach club, restaurants, sports facilities, a hotel and luxury residences, run as a holding of five legal entities. Keeping the books for all of it was the hard part.
Revenue lived in separate systems
Restaurant, hotel and leisure revenue ran across two property-management systems — Oracle Opera and Hilton OnQ — plus Oracle Simphony POS across ten points of sale, with no automated path into the ERP.
Revenue crossing group companies had to be reclassified by hand, postings could reach the ledger wrongly segmented and were only caught at close, and SII invoice data had to be assembled across three source systems before it could be filed.
One ledger, fed by two integration layers
Higuerón partnered with Bring IT to make Oracle NetSuite the group's central back office. Hotel 360° posts production, invoicing and payments from both property systems into the general ledger; Restaurant 360 connects Oracle Simphony POS to NetSuite through the Simphony BI Services API.
Three custom developments handle what's unique to a multi-entity resort: a bill charged to a guest's room now settles itself between the two companies — no one reclassifies it by hand — and a restaurant check paid through the room stays visible in the ERP without being counted as revenue twice.
Once a day, Restaurant 360 pulls the previous day's checks — a paid check becomes a Cash Sale, an open check an Invoice — routing each to the intercompany flow or keeping it informative-only by rule. Behind it: roughly 19,000 menu items mapped into NetSuite across the revenue centers, Spanish localization, and SII e-invoicing from all three source systems.
Revenue consolidated, reclassification automated
With operations and finance on one platform, charges that cross group companies now generate their own intercompany entries — saving 40+ hours every month of manual reclassification. Around 24,000 checks and tickets flow automatically each month across ten points of sale, alongside some 4,000 hotel invoices, and SII e-invoicing runs from Opera, OnQ and Restaurant 360 across two property-management systems and one POS.
Integrating Hotel 360° with NetSuite completely transformed the way we operate. Before, our data was scattered across our PMS and POS systems; today, NetSuite serves as our single source of truth and central platform for financial and operational reporting. Automating our workflows didn't just eliminate countless hours of manual work — it gave us total control and complete visibility across our entire business landscape.
Built to add the next venue without a rebuild
New capacity is a configuration, not a project — a venue or point of sale can be brought on by adding a mapping row, with no development. The Sportclub retail store is the next thing going live on the same NetSuite backbone.
